This masterpiece features the Stations of the Cross
on its cup and base. The heptagonal construction on all
its elements to represent each of the fourteen Stations
is a faithful example of our silversmiths’ ability.
Each panel is finely engraved and finished in slightly
oxidized silver plate contrasting with the gold plated
embossed ornamentation on cup, base and the spectacular

engraving and the best enamel work meet together on this
chalice which well could be inside a museum. The base
has six hand painted fire enamelled panels featuring the
Four Evangelists, the Crucifixion and the Ascension, while
the cup has a further three showing Christ, the Blessed
Mother and St. Joseph. The node is hand engraved with
